The following obituary appeared in the December 27, 2001, edition of The Record Courier of Baker, Oregon: Mary Jo Love, 74, a resident of Boise, Idaho died, Monday, Dec 17, 2001, at St. Luke's Hospital. Arrangements were under the direction of Tami's Pine Valley Funeral Home. A private interment was held on Saturday, Dec. 22, at Pine Haven Cemetery. A memorial graveside service will be held in Mrs. Love's honor this next summer. Mrs. Love was born to Fred and Mildred Stout on Jan. 15, 1927, in Jane, Mo., where she was also raised and educated. She met her first husband, Ellis Ingram at an U.S.O. dance in 1944 and married shortly after in Twin Falls, Idaho. The couple made their home in Pine Valley. Mary Jo had four children, Robert Stout of Reston Va., Linda Bradbury of Yuba City, Calif., Vicky Huff of Halfway, and Lauren Klock of Bellevue, Wash. For pleasure, she enjoyed a good book. But her great passion and love was to sew and quilt for her family. She made all of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren most all of their stuffed animals, she loved the babies. Survivors include her children; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three sisters; three sister-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ellis Ingram; her parents, Fred and Mildred; her second husband, F.A. Love; brother, Charles Stout; sister, Rita Hiler; and one grandson, Bobby Stout. The family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Tami's Pine Valley Funeral Home P.O. Box 543 Halfway, OR 97834 to help defray funeral expenses.
