Elnora was born to Earl and Mary (Irons) Ross on Sunday, August 7, 1910 in Ray County. Elnora Passed away at Ray County Memorial Hospital, Richmond, Mo on Wed., Oct. 20, 1999. She was 89 years old and had lived her lifetime in Ray County. Elnora had attended White School and graduated 8th grade from Lillard School. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved gardening and flowers and enjoyed anything outdoors . Elnora was a member of the Rock Falls Baptist Church. On Feb. 21, 1930, Elnora was married to Forrest "Pete" Dugan of rural Orrick, Mo. Pete passed away in 1988. Elnora is survived by her son, Forrest Wayne Dugan, and her daughter, Mary Louise Schroeder. She is also survived by one brother, William "Bill" Lee Ross and two sisters, Margaret Thomas and Gloria Jean Whitmer. Elnora was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Ralph Ellis Ross, Donald "Jack" Ross, twin boys, Joe Earl Ross and Un-named Stillborn and one sister, Velma Elliott. Elnora is survived by seven grandchildren, Neil Wayne Dugan, Michael Edward Schroeder, James Price Schroeder, Melanie Ramos, Jeremiah Alan Schroeder, Amanda Lynn Schroeder and Lauren Ramirez. Funeral services for Elnora to be held on Sat., Oct. 23, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. at Gowing Chapel with The Rev. Dennis Harper of Camden Methodist Church officiation. Musical selections will be given by Mary Frances Arnold, organist. Interment: Richmond Memory Gardens. |
