From the Crawfordsville (IN) Journal Review, Mon, 23 Jul, 2007. Jennifer J. Bayless, 42, Pittsboro and formerly of Crawfordsville, died 9:57 p.m. Sunday at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Mrs. Bayless worked for 10 years as an RN on the IU Bone Marrow Transplant team. She then spent many years as the coordinator for St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis, and was most recently with the St. Clare Home Care and Hospice team at Crawfordsville. She was a member of St. John Episcopal Church, Crawfordsville. She was also an EMT and First Responder for the Ripley Township Volunteer Fire Department. She also had memberships in the National Honor Society and the Professional Nurses Association. She was a 1983 graduate of Pike Delta York High School in Delta, Ohio. She also graduated from IUPUI School of Nursing with a BS of Nursing. She was born April 10, 1965, at Danville, Ill, to Russell A. and Mary E. (Fenton) Griffith. She married Daniel Bayless July 21, 1989, at St. Bernard?s Catholic Church, Crawfordsville. He survives. Also surviving are mother Mary E. Griffith, Napoleon, Ohio; two nieces and one nephew whom she raised: Jennifer Ann Mullett, Waveland, Lacey Tate, Napoleon, Ohio and Tommy Griffith, Waveland; 21 other nieces and nephews; brothers Eddy (Sandy) Griffith, Brownsburg, Jerry (Mary Helen) Griffith, Holland, Mich., Kevin Griffith, Clermont, and Tim (Jill) Griffith, Swanton, Ohio; and sisters Stacey (Jeff) Vail, Pittsboro, Maddy (Dave) Henry, Panama City, Fla, Patty (Frank ?Herb) Kirts, Crawfordsville, Beverly (Chris) Kellison, Enterprise, Fla, and Angie Nofziger, Pettisville, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her father; three brothers; and one sister. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John Episcopal Church with the Rev. Todd Klessman officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Thursday in the conference hall of St. John Episcopal Church. Prayer service will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the close of visitation. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donors choice. Envelopes will be provided at the church.
