Phillip C. Seymour II, 19, of Wichita Falls, died Wednesday, January 22, 2009. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2009, at Lamar Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Roberson, pastor, and the Rev. Mike Rucker, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Hurnville Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Phillip was born September 1, 1989, in Cleburne. A 2007 graduate of Hirschi High School, becoming a CNA his junior year, he also attended Cameron University. He was a member of the JROTC, serving as C.O. to the Battalion Commander. He also worked as a volunteer for the American Red Cross. Survivors include his parents, Mike and Diane (Estes) Seymour; sister, Shera Echols Bosquez of Joshua; maternal grandmother, Joann Estes of Wichita Falls; great-aunt and great-uncle, Velma and Clifford Schmitt of Wichita Falls; two nieces, Brittany and Mikennya; two nephews, Cody and Colton; also his beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Serving as pallbearers will be Nick Marcangelo, Tyler Ricco, Andy Isaacs, Ricky Estes, Thomas Bosquez, Matt Josey, Cody Echols and Daniel Fox. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2009, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Red Cross.
