Norma Arlene (Craig) Williams, 84, of Union City died Feb. 12, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Eddie Cassetty officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be John Flora, Richard Jackson, Ricky Hepler, Lowell Grooms, Mike Wilson and Kenneth Dodd. The family requests that memorials be made to Senior Citizen programs at the Eddie Cox Senior Center in Union City or the charity of the donor's choice. Mrs. Williams was born April 18, 1924, in Bemis, daughter of the late Wiley and Ida (Marshall) Craig. She married Charlie Ray Williams March 24, 1945. He died Jan. 10, 2001. She was a homemaker and a member of Bishop Street Church of Christ. She was an actively involved in programs at Eddie Cox Senior Center and was an active camper at Camp Bluebird Cancer She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Richard Williams Sr. and Patricia Williams of Cullman, Ala., Randall Keith and Ruth Williams of Arlington, Texas, and Robin Craig and Christi Williams of Union City; six grandchildren, Charles Richard Williams Jr. and Craigton Winn Williams, both of Cullman, Ryan Keith Williams of Arlington, Texas, Cara Dash of Bedford, Texas, and Lindsay Dee Ann Molands and Zachary Charles Williams, both of Union City; five step-grandchildren, Richard Harris of Dover, Jennifer Tivis of Rives, Rebekah Collier of College Station, Texas, Billy Lively of Troy, Ala., and Rachel Bryant of Houston; four great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons; and her sister, Ruth Grooms of Fulton. She was also preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
