The following is a quote from Mary in Dec 2007: "Charlie and I owned and operated Dillahunty Electric where he was involved with electrical contracting(commercially) for over 40 years. I worked with him as bookkeeper and office manager. We closed our business in 1997. After brief retirement ( he is one of those people who will NEVER completely retire) he has been working about 20 hours per week as a Quality Control Inspector at Ft. Sill Oklahoma. He says it keeps him up to date on the Construction business which he dearly loves."

She preferred shying from the spotlight while enjoying others basking in it; always among the first to assist members sending food during their illness and grief, while sending a gift acknowledging their happiness to wedding and baby showers. Her role of mother, grandmother and great grandmother was her most cherished profession. Anyone who knew her, knew most everything concerning her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always eagerly shared their life and accomplishments with her church friends.
